Roadside Assistance

Roadside Assistance is a 24-hour helpline, which provides you with essential services when you have a breakdown within the borders of South Africa.

It includes assistance with mechanical and electrical breakdowns that require emergency roadside assistance and provides appropriate services, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Emergency roadside repairs or towing services will be provided within the borders of South Africa. Amazing Assistance Breakdown Service applies to all motor vehicles, irrespective of age. Roadside assistance includes the following benefits:

mechanical and electrical breakdown of the vehicle – Amazing Assistance may, at the discretion of the case manager, request a repair service for minor roadside repairs, or request a towing service to tow the vehicle to the nearest dealership or approved repair centre.

flat battery (jump start) – The flat battery restart service shall be rendered where a vehicle has become immobilized due to a faulty battery and not due to neglect of the client. Such service shall be limited to reasonable services to mobilise the vehicle and shall exclude all parts, components, lubricants or other similar charges. Assistance will also be provided at non-roadside locations, at the discretion of the case manager,

flat tyre (tyre change) – assistance will also be provided at non-roadside locations, at the discretion of the case manager. Such service shall exclude any costs for the repair of any tyre, parts, wheel balancing or similar charges,

Costs incurred as a result of assistance after involvement in an accident, collision, attempted theft, or hi-jacking will be for the client’s own account and can be recovered from his/her insurance company.
